No table to hand?
Add an image or PDF, check the table, then export to Excel, CSV or Google Sheets. No account needed. ImgToSheet.app doesn't store your file; Anthropic's Claude reads the image and deletes it within 30 days. What happens to your file
How it works
Take the photo
Tap Choose image. Your phone offers to take a photo or pick one from your library.
Check the table
The table appears below your photo. Tap any cell to fix it; cells you change are marked.
Export
Download Excel or CSV, or copy the table into Google Sheets.
Photos that convert well
- Hold the phone straight above the page, not at an angle.
- Use even light. Avoid shadows across the table and glare from the flash.
- Fill the frame with the table and leave out everything else.
- Keep the page flat: a curved page bends the rows.
Questions
What if my photo is sideways or upside down?
ImgToSheet.app checks which way the text faces and turns sideways or upside-down photos upright before reading them. In a test on 8–9 October 2026, a sideways phone photo of a 22-row printed report was read with 0 of 242 cells wrong after turning, against 18 to 67 wrong cells when it was read sideways. See the full test results.
Can ImgToSheet.app read handwritten tables?
Yes, ImgToSheet.app reads handwritten tables too. Clear, dark handwriting gives the best result, and you can fix any cell right beside your photo before you download.
Does ImgToSheet.app work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. ImgToSheet.app runs in any up-to-date mobile browser, with nothing to install and no account to create.
What if ImgToSheet.app finds no table in my photo?
If ImgToSheet.app finds no table, retake the photo straight-on in good light and crop closer to the table. Very small or blurry text is the usual cause.
Is ImgToSheet.app free?
Yes. ImgToSheet.app gives everyone 10 free conversions a day, with no account and no sign-up. The counter at the top of the page shows how many are left, and it resets at midnight UTC.
Does ImgToSheet.app keep my images?
No. ImgToSheet.app holds each image in memory only while converting it, and never saves it to disk, a database or its logs. To read the table, ImgToSheet.app sends the image to Anthropic's Claude API; Anthropic's published policy (checked October 2026) is to delete API data within 30 days and not to use it to train AI models.
