No table to hand?
Add an image or PDF, check the table, then export to Excel, CSV or Google Sheets. No account needed. ImgToSheet.app doesn't store your file; Anthropic's Claude reads the image and deletes it within 30 days. What happens to your file
How it works
Add an image
Drop it, choose a file, take a photo, or paste a screenshot with ⌘V / Ctrl+V.
Check the table
Fix any cell before you export. Cells you change are marked.
Download .csv
Each table downloads as its own CSV file, named after the table when it has a title.
About the CSV file
- Comma-separated, with quotes around values that contain commas, quotes or line breaks.
- UTF-8 with a byte-order mark, which tells Excel how to show accents and Turkish, Chinese or Arabic text.
- Values are kept exactly as they appear in the image: 1,234.50 stays 1,234.50 and dates aren't reformatted.
- Rows are padded to the same width, so every column lines up.
Questions
CSV or Excel: which should I download from ImgToSheet.app?
Choose Excel (.xlsx) if you'll work in Excel or Google Sheets: ImgToSheet.app turns plain numbers into real numbers and puts each table on its own sheet. Choose CSV to import into another tool: ImgToSheet.app's CSV keeps every value exactly as written.
Will ImgToSheet.app's CSV open correctly in Excel?
Yes. ImgToSheet.app saves CSV files as UTF-8 with a byte-order mark, which tells Excel to show accented and non-Latin characters correctly instead of garbled text.
What if my image has more than one table?
ImgToSheet.app shows each table in its own tab. Download a CSV from each tab, or download the Excel file to get every table as a separate sheet.
Is ImgToSheet.app free?
Yes. ImgToSheet.app gives everyone 10 free conversions a day, with no account and no sign-up. The counter at the top of the page shows how many are left, and it resets at midnight UTC.
Does ImgToSheet.app keep my images?
No. ImgToSheet.app holds each image in memory only while converting it, and never saves it to disk, a database or its logs. To read the table, ImgToSheet.app sends the image to Anthropic's Claude API; Anthropic's published policy (checked October 2026) is to delete API data within 30 days and not to use it to train AI models.
